Located along the Hudson River in West New York, New Jersey, just minutes from Manhattan, the Green House on 56th Street is an energy efficient “boutique” multifamily complex designed with sustainability in mind. Opened in early 2019, the 20-unit building features units ranging from 856 to 1,368 square feet and is within walking distance of many of West New York’s shopping and dining venues. The Green House was designed by CPA Architecture and constructed by 56th Street Inc. using cutting-edge green building technology.
In order to increase the Green House’s thermal performance and minimize heating and cooling costs for tenants, a multitude of high performance products provided by Allied Metal were used. Kingspan’s 2 inch Kooltherm K15 Rainscreen and K10 Soffit insulation boards lent a hand in helping the complex achieve exemplary thermal resistance values.
