Kingspan's warranties are assessed individually for each project, and are dependent on the suitability, type, and aggressiveness of the environment.
The purchaser and prospective user acknowledges that the natural feature of polycarbonate luminous panels is the hygroscopic structure of the material allowing adsorption and penetration of water vapor. Depending on the environment, condensation of vapor in the chambers and "fogging" of the panels may occur. This phenomenon is not considered a defect and can not be covered by the warranty. KS1000 WL are factory-fitted with sealing tape at both ends of the panel, which limits moisture penetration into the panel and greatly reduces condensation and panel misting.
