Kingspan’s trapezoidal wall insulated panels are flexible in design and can be applied to multiple design applications. Offering multiple thicknesses, KS1000 RW (Wall)  is a single component insulated metal panel product, minimising any construction delays, thus producing faster on-site installation compared to traditional built up systems. The panels are made up of Kingspan’s unique FIREsafe PIR insulation care and provide high thermal performance, insulation continuity, minimal air leakage and the elimination of interstitial cavity condensation and cold bridging.  The result is a safe, energy efficient, aesthetically appealing building.

Kingspan panels meet the highest property loss prevention product testing and certification standards. The FM mark is recognised by the world’s leading regulatory authorities.

FM 4881
The Kingspan PIR core, has been tested and passed the requirements of AS1366.2   

The ‘internal spread of flame’ is classed as Group 2-S for standard specification, and Group 1-S for firewall specification.

For ‘external spread of flame’ the panel has been tested to ISO5660-1 and achieved a Type A product result

Codemark logo
CodeMark is the highest level product certification available in the NZ market.  Government-approved, CodeMark-certified products must be accepted by local authorities when granting building consents (as long as the product is used in accordance with the certificate).
The Codemark process was undertaken with SAI Global, who evaluated all parts of Kingspan’s business and processes from production and quality systems through to installation details, and against the both the Australian and New Zealand building codes.
