Kingspan Kooltherm K8 Cavity Board is a premium performance rigid thermoset phenolic insulation faced on both sides with a low emiddivity composite foil.

Kingspan Kooltherm K8 Cavity Board can be used for insulating within the cavity of a cavity wall construction.

Kooltherm insulation has a fibre-free and closed cell insulation core, which has been manufactured with zero Ozone Depletion Potential and low Global Warming Potential.

Kingspan Kooltherm K8 Cavity Board should be described in specifications as:

The cavity wall insulation shall be Kingspan Kooltherm K8 Cavity Board ____ mm thick: comprising a fibre–free premium performance rigid thermoset phenolic insulation core faced on both sides with a low emissivity composite foil. The Insulation core shall be 90% (or greater) closed cell structure. The product shall be manufactured: with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP); under a management system certified to ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2004, BS / I.S. OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 50001: 2011; by Kingspan Insulation and installed in accordance with the instructions issued by them.
