At Kingspan Insulation we work endlessly on Innovation and we like to push the boundaries with our products, Optim-R is our next generation insulation solution. This optimum performance rigid vacuum insulation panel (often called a VIP) provides the highest level of thermal efficiency with minimal overall thickness.

Our vacuum insulation offers a thermal conductivity as low as 0.007 W/m∙K providing an insulation performance that is up to five times better than commonly used insulation. It is available in a range of thicknesses and sizes for a wide variety of applications.

What is a Vacuum insulated panel?

Kingspan OPTIM-R comprises a micro-porous core, which is evacuated, encased, and sealed in a thin, gas-tight envelope, giving outstanding thermal conductivity and the thinnest possible solution to insulation problems.
All Kingspan OPTIM-R systems are delivered with Kingspan Insulation’s optimum technical service, which includes expert technical advice, detailed drawings which are bespoke for every project, installation advice, site visits, training and tool box talks.
Kingspan Optim-R panels are also available with a 3m rubber crumb protective layer which eliminates the additional need of protective sheeting when installing directly onto uneven or rough substrates. This protective layer simplifies and streamlines installation while still preserving space.
Optim-r is perfect for projects where space is tight starting at 20mm this insulation is high preforming yet the thinnest possible solution.
