SIPs are a simple but revolutionary way of building.
Whilst traditional construction methods rely on brick and block, or conventional timber frame, SIPs can provide both a structure and insulation in one. SIP’s can be used to create fast- track highly energy efficient buildings . A SIP home or building is easily constructed and provides a much quicker building solution while still providing a very energy efficient structure. SIP panels construction can achieve air leakage levels as well as 10mᵌ/hour/m² - at 50pa. Our Kingspan TEK building system can achieve whole wall and roof u-values of 0.21 – 0.10 W/m².k or better.
