Kingspan acquires Brazilian insulated panel company

Kingspan has acquired a 51% controlling share in the Brazilian company , Isoeste Construtivos Isotérmicos S.A. (Isoeste).
Isoeste is the leading insulated panel manufacturer in Brazil with over 630 employees and operating on four separate sites. It has forecast sales of approximately €134 million for 2017.

Discussing the acquisition Gene Murtagh, CEO of Kingspan, said, “We are delighted to create this partnership with the founders of Isoeste”. He also added that the partnership will help the company establish itself in the Latin and South American areas.

This acquisition firmly places Kingspan in a market leading position across Latin America.

“Together with our recent investments in Colombia and Mexico, this acquisition firmly places Kingspan in a market leading position across Latin America, with a strong platform for further expansion in the region,” he said.
This is the latest acquisition contributing to Kingspan’s global expansion.
