The 18th Construction Marketing Awards (CMAs) Gala dinner took place at the Radisson Blu in London on Thursday 30 November 2017. Kingspan employees were well represented at the event with nominations in four different categories.

The UK CMAs are highly regarded as a measure of excellence in construction marketing and business development. Supported by The Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG), the awards are an invaluable opportunity to showcase the construction industry’s creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing.

Fae Perkins and Becky Cousins are the duo behind the Potton Marketing Team as well as Kingspan Timber Solutions. Fae and Becky were up for three awards–Best use of Advertising, Best use of Content Marketing and Marketing Team of the Year. Two Kingspan employees were nominated for Emerging Talent–Young Marketer of the Year, Lauren Miller of Kingspan Insulation and Emily Maguire of Kingspan Insulated Panels.

Lauren Miller: Emerging Talent–Young Marketer of the Year–Highly Commended

Lauren Miller, Digital Campaign Executive at Kingspan Insulation, joined the company in 2016. One of her first responsibilities was to manage the company's blog and quickly took it upon herself to exemplify the benefits of writing SEO content, as well as educating the marketing team on how to create good content.

Within a month of joining Kingspan, Lauren was helping to launch the U-value Calculator app at Ecobuild 2016. Recognising the need to keep developing, she added the ability to recieve BIM objects to the U-value Calculator

Other highlights of her time at Kingspan have included leading the development and launch of e-learning features on www.kingspan.com and launching Kingspan Insulation's Kingspan Insight area, which includes use of the e-learning features and development of over 25 'how to' animations.
Lauren has enormous passion and energy for digital marketing, which shines through in each of her projects.
