How do you view Kingspan as an employer?
Kingspan has been tremendously supportive of my professional and personal development. The senior management team is focused on understanding the strengths and abilities of all employees and positioning employees for optimal staff and customer satisfaction.




What one piece of advice would you give to a new starter at any level entering the organisation today?
No one at Kingspan is beneath you or above you. Our customers need all of us to do our jobs to the best of our abilities, no matter what position you hold.

Kingspan prides itself on its ability to take inspiration and innovation from other sectors. How do you think your career helps to demonstrate this? 
Before coming to work for Kingspan, I was the Activity Program Director for an assisted living organisation that specialized in dementia and memory care. To excel in that position, I needed to be quick thinking, solution oriented and put others needs before my own. That same mind set has applied to all of the positions I’ve held with Kingspan. No matter what our individual positions, our work can be more satisfying if we remember the people behind each project, not just the products we design, sell, produce and ship.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
I originally started in an entry level marketing position. After two years, our then company President, Ralph Mannion, asked if I would consider taking a position in customer service. I was incredibly impressed that while managing hundreds of employees, Ralph singled me out for a pivotal role to interact with our customers on a daily basis. I knew then that I was working for a company that believed in growing and developing its people.

How has Kingspan helped you to develop as a person?
Kingspan has really empowered me to use my voice. I’m more comfortable sharing my thoughts, opinions and ideas, no matter how ridiculous they might seem. Kingspan encourages a strong and collaborative working environment.
