Speed of construction

With the structural timber frames for most units being erected in around 10-20 days, buildings can normally be made weathertight within five weeks. This allows internal trades to proceed – and ensures brickwork remains off the building’s critical path. Typically a 2000 square foot house can be completed in only 12 weeks.

Not only does our Kingspan ULTIMA system provide market-leading levels of thermal efficiency, it also results in a slimmer wall build up. Our premium insulation is placed within the panels rather than adjacent to them. 

ULTIMA uses Kingspan Kooltherm, the thinnest commonly used insulation product for any specific U-value. A slimmer wall build up creates more internal floor space, which in turn adds value to the property.

Route to a Successful Build

  • You or your architect submit your drawings for planning
  • Approval received
  • Order placed (approx. 10-12 week lead time from order placement to first day on site)
  • Deposit placed and the order signed
  • Whilst the design is being completed and the structure is being manufactured you can carry out the groundworks on site
  • We deliver the structural timber frame to site
  • The structure is erected in approximately 10-20 days     
  • Typically, a Kingspan project can be completed in 12 weeks
