Premium performance pre-formed insulated cavity closer

Kingspan Kooltherm Cavity Closer PLUS is manufactured by joining Kingspan Kooltherm Cavity Closer sections to produce a pre-formed frame.

It is made to specified opening sizes, eliminating the need for temporary timber formers or on-site cutting. This reduces installation time, and helps to achieve airtightness requirements.

Core Premium performance rigid thermoset phenolic insulant manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and a low Global Warming Potential (GWP)
Available Widths 50, 75, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145 and 150 mm
 
Note that sections can be joined together to suit cavity widths up to 300 mm

ψ–values

Research has shown that by installing premium performance insulated cavity closers, rather than sticking with the ACDs and associated psi-values, it is possible to easily achieve significant reductions in thermal bridging.
