Decaroc panels

Decaroc panels are specifically designed for applications in environments where temperature control and fire safety are of extreme importance:

  • Type 50C – with density 95 kg/m³
  • Type 50F – with density 120 kg/m³

Decaroc panels offer excellent fire resistance and meet the fire class A2-s1, d0 and are FM Global approved. They are available in thicknesses of 60 to 300 mm and the lengths can be adjusted in accordance with the technical capacities of the panel.

Our technical department will be happy to provide additional information and calculations for applications in negative temperatures and for performance for practicability in the case the panels can be used as a ceiling.

Fire safe buildings

Decaroc panels are the ideal solution for fire-resistant walls, facades and compartmentations in and between buildings themselves thanks to their exceptional reaction to fire and the excellent fire resistance. They meet fire class A2-s1,d0 according to EN1 13501 and are FM Global approved.

Some technical characteristics and benefits

  • Thickness: 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 170, 200, 240 and 300 mm
  • Insulation: Rock wool, type 50C and 50F
  • Width: 1170 mm – also available in 1120 mm for container cladding
  • Applications: For partition walls and external walls
  • Temperatures: -25ºC to +40ºC. With negative temperatures is a 'box-in-a-box' construction required
  • Installation: vertical or horizontal as partition walls or external wall
  • Fire resistance: insulated with rock wool 50F, used as partition walls and external wall:
  • Insulated with rock wool 50F, to be used as ceiling providing well determined criteria and conditions are respected.

Acoustic solutions


In the assortment Decaroc, the Decaroc Acoustic Design panels are also available. These panels with perforated surface are excellent for noise reduction in machine rooms and other areas such as, for example, trade fair halls, production halls, etc., where specific acoustic requirements must be met.

Decaroc Acoustic Design panels are available in modular with a default width of 1170 mm and thicknesses from 60-80- 100-120 and 150 mm. On request and subject to minimum quantities of 200 m², 170 and 200 mm are also available.

The inside of the panel is in perforated steel plate coated in RAL 9010, the outside of the panel is always in laminated plate. The perforation degree from the absorption side is 25% and consists of a very nice dispersed composition of different perforations ranging from 3-4-5-6 and 7 mm, providing a very nice trim is obtained with excellent acoustic properties, such as, for example, a noise reduction value of Rw (C ; Ctr)= 35 (-1 ;-4) dB with a wall thickness of 100 mm.

Mounting accessories

For the assembly and finishing of insulating Decaroc sandwich panels a very wide range of mounting accessories is available such as: floor assembly profiles, the inner and outer corners, various tuck work profiles, ceiling suspension systems for different situations, and all necessary hardware systems and finishing profiles to finish the whole to a closed entirety.
