QuadCore Trapezoidal Roof Panel KS1000/2000 RW

KS1000/2000 RW is a trapezoidal insulated roof panel powered by QuadCore Technology

KS1000/2000 RW is a through-fix, trapezoidal profiled insulated roof panel. Available in 1000mm or 2000mm widths and in lengths of up to 29m (depending on width), allowing for fast track and cost-effective installation.

  • Available in Kingspan XL Forte and Kingspan Spectrum coatings. Download a copy of the coating selector 
  • Application - pitched roofs of 4º or more after deflection

  • Classified B-s1,d0 according to the European Reaction to Fire classification system (Euroclasses) BS EN 13501–1:2007+A1:2009 when tested on the internal liner. Please contact Technical Services for information relating to the external face 
  • BROOF (t4) to BS EN 13501-5:2016

  • LPS 1181 Part 1: Issue 1, series of fire growth tests for LPCB approval and is certified to LPS 1181 Grade EXT-B 
  • FM 4471 Class 1 panel roofs*
  • FM 4880 Class 1 fire rating of building panels or interior finish materials, unlimited height
  • FM 4882 Class 1 interior wall panels in smoke sensitive occupancies (pharmaceutical manufacturing & storage areas, and food preparation & storage areas or similar occupancies)

Sustainability

Net Zero Energy / Renewable Energy

QuadCore Trapezoidal Roof Wall Panel is manufactured in our Holywell or Kingscourt facilities. By the end of 2020, 100% of the non-renewable operational energy used in manufacturing processes in this site will be matched through the use of renewable energy and the purchase of renewable energy certificates (to offset any remaining non-renewable energy use). Waste to Landfill

At Holywell & Kingscourt, we currently send 0% of our manufacturing waste to landfill. Our Planet Passionate goal is to send zero waste to landfill by 2030.

Rainwater harvesting

We currently have rainwater harvesting at our offices at Holywell. We are installing telemetry to better understand our usage. Our Planet Passionate goal is to achieve a total of 100 million litres of rainwater harvested groupwide by 2030.

Responsible sourcing

This product is certified 'Very Good' to BES 6001 (Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products) for our Holywell manufacturing site.

Recycled and/or renewable content

We procure steel that is made from 20 – 25% recycled content.
By 2021 all of our Quadcore panels will also contain an upcycled polyol (raw material) made from post-consumer PET bottles.

Re-use options

Kingspan insulated panels are durable, inert, do not rot and are resistant to moisture. In most cases, the panels are mechanically fixed to the structural frame and therefore can be easily disassembled and separated from other construction materials.
At the end of use phase, we would strongly advocate for re-use of the panels. Insulated panels have been used at the end of their use phase for other applications, such as support for advertising on football fields and donations to local communities.
