Major London refurbishment

Completed in 2008, Unilever House which overlooks the Blackfriars Bridge and the River Thames at London's Victoria Embankment was a major refurbishment of this iconic 8-storey building originally built in 1931.

Project details

We supplied and installed over 20,000sq m of RMG600 panels used throughout the building. New flooring sits seamlessly alongside around 5,000sq m of original parquet flooring which was re-used during the reconstruction process.

The building is an excellent example of sustainable project delivery that surpasses The British Council for Offices (BCO) specification. The project achieved a BREEAM "excellent" rating and carbon emissions were reduced by 25%, which is far greater than regulations currently require. From the start the project team was tasked with delivering the most sustainable project possible and the targets set were more than achieved.
