We have had our home on the airfield industrial estate between Pembridge and Shobdon in rural Herefordshire since 1986 and over the past two decades we have gone from strength to strength. The site is now the largest of its kind in the world.
In 2007, we opened a new manufacturing facility just outside of Sherburn-in-Elmet, North Yorkshire. The business contributes positively to the local economy and community whilst being extremely mindful of our impacts on the wider environment.
We do, however, recognise the need to communicate more directly with the communities in which we are based, to involve ourself with the activities of those communities and to be open about what we are doing to ensure that we are operating in a responsible manner.
To this end, we set up the Kingspan Insulation Community Trust, which considers funding requests for environmental, biodiversity, healthy recreation and road safety projects based around the parishes of Pembridge, Shobdon, Kingsland and Sherburn-in-Elmet.
