Kingspan will be represented on one of motor sport’s biggest stages this race weekend, partnering with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing (DRR) to field Conor Daly in the No. 23 Chevrolet for the 110th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
Daly will start 8th on the grid for Sunday’s race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, giving Kingspan a strong position in the field for the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing”. The partnership brings together a globally recognised brand and one of the most iconic events in world sport, with Kingspan using the platform to connect its performance-led business mindset with elite competition.
The fit between Kingspan and IndyCar is a natural one. Both operate in environments where precision, speed and execution matter, and both are driven by a commitment to high performance. For Kingspan, the Indy 500 offers a high-profile opportunity to showcase that ambition on a global stage.
Daly, a 34-year-old second-generation racer from Noblesville, Indiana, is the son of Irish former Formula One driver Derek Daly and is contesting his 13th Indy 500. He returns with strong recent form, having finished 10th in 2024 for DRR after starting 29th, leading 22 laps and gaining 19 positions to become the race’s biggest mover. Across his Indy 500 career, Daly has led 82 laps and recorded five top-ten finishes, underlining his pace and consistency at the Speedway.
Speaking about the opportunity, Daly said racing at Indianapolis means a great deal to him and that he is excited to return with DRR and Kingspan backing the effort. The team’s goal is clear: to challenge at the front and put the No. 23 Kingspan Chevrolet in contention when the race reaches its decisive stages.
For Kingspan, the partnership is not just about visibility at a major sporting event. It is also about aligning the brand with a team and driver that reflect performance, innovation and ambition, qualities that sit at the heart of the business.
