Kingspan and Conor Daly deliver a strong Indy 500 debut

Kingspan’s first run at the Indianapolis 500 ended with a competitive result and a clear sign of pace. Partnering with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing and Conor Daly, the No. 23 Kingspan Chevrolet qualified eighth and finished 12th after 200 laps at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in a 33-car strong field.
Daly brought the car into the race from a strong starting position after showing speed throughout the build-up. He lined up inside the top ten and stayed close to the lead group for much of the afternoon, keeping the Kingspan entry in the heart of the action as the race unfolded.

It was a debut that felt immediately at home on one of motorsport’s biggest stages. Daly is a proven Indy 500 performer, with five top ten finishes before this year, and that experience showed in the way he managed the pace, traffic and strategy that define the race.
Kingspan’s involvement with the No. 23 car added a new chapter to its growing sports portfolio, and the partnership with DRR gave the brand a place in a race that rewards precision as much as speed. The weekend brought together a respected team, an experienced driver and a car that had the speed to run at the front when it mattered.
For Daly, the finish was another solid Indianapolis result. For Kingspan, it was a first appearance at the Indy 500 that delivered pace, visibility and a natural fit with the intensity of the event.
The next chapter starts with a result that showed Kingspan belongs on the grid, and a partnership that made its mark from the moment the green flag dropped.
