Anodes replaced in Kingspan rhino water tank

Why Are Anodes Important To Your Tank Health?

Sacrificial Magnesium Anodes are used to prevent corrosion on your tank and are fully replaced everytime we conduct your 5 year service. The Magnesium is a weaker metal than your ZINCALUME® or COLORBOND® steel tank shell, therefore the anode becomes the first defence against corrosion if electrolysis starts to occur.
