The Karrier System is a proven factory engineered building system which comprises individual high performance insulated panels designed to support the structural load of the façades. Standard panels are available in a width of 1100mm, and can be easily cut on-site making them ideal for projects with various layout arrangements.

The lightweight panels can be manually lifted into position or can be installed with mechanical handling devices. This option is extremely flexible and can be considered at both early design and post design stages of a project.

The panels can be fixed to a lightweight steel framing system (SFS) or span either column to column or slab to slab/beam to beam, with no intermittent structural load required.

Safe and easy to install

Karrier provides a weathertight building envelope in a fraction of the time of traditional construction methods, taking the facade off the critical path of the build program.

* For orders supplied outside of Australia maximum lengths are 11.8m.
Maximum length for panels transported by rail is 12m. Exact lengths to be determined by the cladding contractor from the steelwork drawings.

  • Karrier panel systems meet the requirements of BCA Specification C1. 10a as a Group 2 product, when tested to AS ISO 9705.
  • Karrier panel with aluminium Hook-on Cassette System has been tested to BS8414-2.

Fire Testing


150mm thick Karrier Panel and Aluminium Shingle Rainscreen Façade System has been tested to BS 8414-2 and passes all AS5113 criteria, excluding debris. ​

Kingspan will provide up to a 25 year structural and thermal warranty on the product upon project completion. The panel must be installed as per Kingspan’s recommended construction details and the installers trained by our Kingspan field service manager. Project is to be inspected prior to warranty being issued.
  • External weather sheet: Substrate to be a nominal 0.6mm thick ribbed profile with Z275 Zincform G300S coated steel to AS1397, with painted steel coating.
  • Insulation core: To consist of 50-200mm, closed cell, zero ozone depleting potential (ODP), CFC & HCFC free, polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation. The auto adhesive properties of the core bond to the external and internal sheets and provide strength and rigidity to the panels.
  • Internal liner sheet: Substrate to be a minimum 0.5mm thick ribbed profile Z275 Zincform G300S coated steel to AS1397, with painted steel coating.
For sound transmission reduction, panels typically have a single figure weighted sound reduction index
