Hub Building, Waikato Innovation Park

The Project

Kingspan Dri-Design Rainscreen Façade cassettes feature on the new Hub Building in the Waikato Innovation Park Limited.

The Dri-Design cassettes (in ‘Duratec Matt Black’) were chosen for the building (designed by Edwards White Architects Ltd) for their aesthetic appearance and performance. They have been installed by Project Unite on Kingspan’s Karrier insulated rainscreen substructure panel which allowed the building to be made weathertight before the Dri-Design cassettes were installed.

  • R values ranging from 50mm R2.65 to 200mm R10.0 (panel only)
  • Fast install direct onto structural frame
  • No aggravated thermal bridging

STEP 2: Dri-Design Flat Aluminium Rainscreen Facade:

  • Fast installation
  • High aestheic appeal

The system has been great, the Karrier panel was installed quickly and closed the building in, allowing us to continue on with internal works, the Dri-Design is now being installed and looks fantastic, everyone visiting the site comments on it and I look forward to using it on other jobs
