The controlled environment insulated panel systems are designed for use within temperature controlled and hygiene-safe environments such as: food processing, deep freeze, cold/chill store and clean rooms for bio-technology and pharmaceutical industries.
Chilled storage by definition is a temperature-controlled environment used for the short term storage of perishable products held at temperatures of 0ºC to +5ºC in order to maintain their quality and safety. Schedule 4 (Temperature Control Requirements) of the 2006 Food Hygiene Regulations required that in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, foods which are likely to support the growth of pathogenic micro-organisms or the formulation of toxins, be held at 0ºC to +5ºC unless specific products require different temperatures.
Chilled areas are also used to remove heat from products, to reduce the load on refrigeration systems. Examples of the various food types include:
UltraTemp panels deliver exceptional technical performance, and are perfect for use within chilled storage environments.
Food processing by definition is a temperature-controlled and hygiene-safe environment used for the preparation, production and processing of food, with a temperature range of +10ºC to +18ºC.
The regulations contain specific requirements for the design and construction of premises where open food is stored or prepared. All food premises should consider the following main criteria:
Kingspan KS1100 CS panels deliver exceptional technical performance, and are perfect for use within food processing environments.
The UltraTemp KS1100CS panels used on this project are certified to LPS 1181 Grade EXT-B, offering complete protection of your building.
The UltraTemp panels selected for this project were extremely quick and easy to install. The installation for the entire project was completed in one month.
