Where we operate
Ireland and the UK
Kingspan has significant operations in Ireland and the UK, accounting for approximately 70% of the Group’s revenues in 2007. Historically, the group’s roots have been in this area, with the first manufacturing plant outside Ireland/UK being acquired in 1996, in Czech. Kingspan’s headquarters are in the Republic of Ireland, and a number of divisional management teams are also based in this region. Kingspan operate approximately 20 manufacturing units in Ireland and the UK.
Western Europe
Kingspan divisions are well represented in Western Europe, with manufacturing facilities in Belgium (2), Netherlands, Denmark and Germany, together with sales and/or distribution companies in most other Western European countries. Kingspan has significant market shares in most of the markets in which it operates, including those where there is no manufacturing.
Central and Eastern Europe
Kingspan operates manufacturing facilities throughout Central and Eastern Europe, and this has been one of the most rapidly expanding areas for the Group in the past 10 years. Kingspan has manufacturing facilities in Poland (2), Czech, Hungary and Turkey (2), as well as sales operations in almost all former Soviet bloc countries and North Africa.
North America
Kingspan has two manufacturing facilities in Canada, and seven facilities in the United States. Kingspan has grown rapidly in this geography in the past number of years, with the group’s first venture into this market taking place only in 2001. North America remains relatively un-penetrated for Kingspan’s product range, and it is likely that a combination of higher energy prices and regulatory developments will generate significant growth in Kingspan’s products in the future.
Asia
Kingspan has one manufacturing facility in Australia, and sales operations in New Zealand, Hong Kong, India and throughout the Middle East.
